Olá! We are back from Brazil!

Brazil is full of wildlife. That’s because most of the country is covered by the world’s largest rainforest, the Amazon, and the world’s largest wetland, the Pantanal. You bet we saw lots of animals while we there! We also ate tropical fruits we’d never heard of before, like a cupuaçu (coo-poo-AH-soo), which we decided tasted like a banana-flavored pear. We love Brazil not only for its lush nature, but its lively cities. Keep scrolling to learn more about this beautiful country.

How old are you and where in Brazil do you live?

I am six years old and I live in Curitiba. It’s a city.

What do you do for fun?

I enjoy riding my bike or my scooter. I also like to play futebol with my friends.

What do you love about Brazil?

There are a lot of waterfalls in Brazil. I like seeing waterfalls. But mostly, I just like being with my family.

What do you eat for lunch?

I usually eat rice and beans with chicken and salad. For my dad’s birthday last week, we went to a churrascaria restaurant. At this type of restaurant, the waiters carry grilled meat on skewers and slice pieces right at the table. They keep coming until you’re done eating. I was very full!
